The installation of ColorMorph is quite simple
and straight forward. But there are two potential problems
that need to be mentioned.
ColorMorph Uninstall
ColorMorph will not always
automatically uninstall an older version. If you get an
error when you try to install ColorMorph, you may have
encountered this problem. Simply open Windows Control
Panel, look for Add and Remove Programs, then look for
ColorMorph and Remove it. Then try to install ColorMorph.
If you have a shortcut to
ColorMorph on your desktop, Windows will give you an option to
go to Add and Remove programs when you delete the shortcut.
DOT NET Framework 2.0
ColorMorph requires Microsoft's
.Net Framework 2.0. If not installed on your computer it
will be downloaded and installed during the installation of
ColorMorph. The installation of .Net Framework 2.0 is a
Microsoft generated installation. It is a significant
installation. A large download and a long installation.
On a slow internet connection it will require 30 to 40 minutes
to download.
However! Do not fear, it is
a good thing to have .Net Framework 2.0. As time goes by,
more and more software will be using and requiring .Net
Framework 2.0.
Your system may already have .Net
Framework 2.0 or even 3.x installed. In which case the
installation of ColorMorph will go quickly.
