Last updated: Monday, July 10, 2006 WedgeSoft Maze WedgeSoft Maze is a quality Windows maze game written in C++. It features random mazes as easy as 3 by 3 up to as hard as 200 by 200 (or more). You may print up a bunch of mazes to be worked, by hand, on paper. The maze adjusts to fit as you resize the window. A trail is left behind your slider as you work your way through the maze. In addition, the game will give you three types of hints, provide the solution if asked, or will solve itself (which is fun to watch). And, when you win, the best path is clearly shown with a "run around the track" animation. Blind Mode exposes only near passages and Cast Adrift erases far passages. (Parents: to aid your young one: turn Blind Mode.) Four display styles allow you to change the color of the walls or the trail. You may save your work to a disk file. All of the above are well documented in the help file. WedgeSoft Maze gives you all of this, plus other features. (Batch print has a bug, it does not work.)
As I no longer distribute a setup file. I recommend you create a folder C:\Program Files\WedgeSoft\WSMaze, then download WSMaze Self Extract and extract to that folder. Registration You may ask, “Why force registration?” Because, I want to get a better idea of how many people play my free games. In the past, received very little feedback. With a required registration, I receive more comments from you folk. And, reading an occasional thank you or compliment is nice.
1) Short term registration. Useful to try the game out. The short term Key will be posted on the Free WedgeSoft Software Key page and updated every few month. How many days left in the posted key will vary as it ages, and I do not guarantee how often I’ll update the key. 2) Long term registration. Useful if you will be playing the game in the future, and you don’t want to bother checking here for a key every few months. Send me an email asking for a registration set, and I’ll reply with a pass phrase and key pair that will be good for at least three years. Make sure you put WSMaze in the subject of your email. gammill@wedgesoft.com
WSMaze is no longer under development. I have not touched it for several years. Though I have had numerous ideas for enhancements. It is not likely to ever see further development. Monday, July 10, 2006
