ColorMorph is a useful tool to help you choose colors that tie, one to another. From one color through to a final color, as the first "morphs" to the second.

ColorMorph can be used to help, for example, with a display of fabric, either in the order the fabric is lain out in a retail outlet, or as sewn together in clothing or as part of a quilt. Web design would benefit from an attractive spread of colors between principle design colors.

There are three major features: the Color Morph Wheel, the Color Morph Band, and a Standard Color Wheel. In addition there is a Color Picker that allows one to choose a full compliment of colors. Tint may be applied to the colors of the Color Morph Wheel and the Standard Color Wheel to lighten or darken a wheel of colors.

Drag and drop makes ColorMorph easy to use. Simply drag a color from the Color Pickers Band over any Color Morph Wheel section and let go. Colors are automatically spread between existing colors. Many colors may be dropped on each wheel. Colors may be moved about via drag and drop. A single click of the mouse can be used to delete a color. There are several menus available by context with the right mouse.

The Color Pickers allows you to choose colors from a Color Field which can display more than sixteen million colors. You can chose colors by value, and see the values of each color as selected. You can store an almost unlimited number of colors, of your choice, in a Color Band. And even more colors may be stored in the Color Swatch. The Swatch provides a wide selection of predefined colors. Colors stored in the Band or the Swatch can be saved and restored.

The Color Morph Wheel is used to try a variety of color spreads. Multiple colors may be dropped on the wheel, and the spread between each will immediately appear. There are options to change the number of sections in the wheel. The wheel can be resized by grabbing and dragging the corners of the frame with your mouse. The wheel can be elliptical. Colors of the wheel can be lightened or darkened. And, of course the wheel can be saved, restored or printed. You can also get a report of the red/green/blue components of the colors in the wheel.

The Color Morph Band displays a linear spread between two colors. Though more limited than the Color Morph Wheel, many prefer its simplicity. The spread is displayed between two key colors, one on each end. These two ends may be swapped. Drop a color anywhere near one of the ends, it will snap to that end, and color spread will appear. And, of course the ban can be saved, restored or printed. You can also get a report of the red/green/blue components of each color in the band

The Standard Color Wheel is very much like a standard cardboard color wheel, with additional colors. A cardboard wheel often contains only twenty four colors. ColorMorph can display as few as three and as many as ninty six colors. You can not drag and drop, or delete colors from the wheel. However, you can drag and drop colors from the wheel onto the Color Pickers Color Band for use in either of the two Color Morph features. You can get a report of the red/green/blue components of each color in the wheel, and print the wheel; but you can not save or restore the Standard Color Wheel.

One may copy colors from ColorMorph to another application via cut and paste. The program is well documented, with well written help (in English) and pop up help features.
